Lisa Gurry, who spent over two decades at Microsoft before co-founding health tech startup Truveta, has taken on the role of chief business officer at GeneDX. The Maryland-based company maintains an extensive rare disease database connecting genomic data with patient conditions. Gurry aims to leverage this dataset to accelerate disease diagnosis and drug discovery while providing value to healthcare systems.
In other moves, Kim Baggett has joined the Cancer AI Alliance as director of operations after serving as chief operating and financial officer at Sage Bionetworks.
