SeekOut, the Bellevue-based recruiting software company, has appointed Bala Vishwanath as its new chief marketing officer. Vishwanath brings extensive experience to the role, having previously served as CMO at CoreStack and held leadership positions at Edifecs and Roundglass Living. The recruitment technology firm, which achieved unicorn status in 2022 before facing recent layoffs, serves over 1,000 companies with its innovative candidate sourcing platform.
In the dating app sector, Grindr has strengthened its board with the addition of Chad Cohen, who previously served as chief financial officer at Zillow. Cohen, currently CEO of Seattle’s Scala Advisors, will chair the audit committee at Grindr. His appointment follows his executive roles at Adaptive Biotechnologies and Capella Space.
